Stefania Bosco's Story

From Vincenza, Italy to the London School of Economics, Stefania’s life has taken an interesting path.

After spending her childhood years in Italy, Stefania set sail for university in the UK, where she ultimately received her Masters in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics. “I’ve always been attracted to how finance works,” she says, “and I love evaluating risk.” That’s a good thing, and it’s worked very well for her. Now a Risk & Finance Manager with our capital markets office in London, Stefania plays a vital role in analyzing risk related issues, especially on the trading and finance side of the business.

“There are more risks emerging every day,” says Stefania. “And today, it is important to be at the forefront on risk management."

For Stefania, the CG culture resonates with her deep appreciation for a strong work ethic (thank you, Italian parents) and love of connection with other people. “Here, there are no barriers, growth is encouraged, and everyone is approachable.”

Stefania likes to share important words to encourage others who face challenges or are lacking in confidence. “Don’t be afraid. Persevere. You can do it.”

“When I was younger, there were times I often said those words to myself. Sometimes other people need to hear them as well.”

And as much as she is passionate about assessing risk, there is another side to Stefania. She loves to go for long walks, she adores animals (especially her cat), and she recently decided to learn a little Japanese, as one does.
