Thorn Limited (BrightHouse)

Our client, Thorn Limited ("Thorn") has completed the sale of BrightHouse Limited ("BrightHouse") to Vision Capital. BrightHouse is the UK's leading rent-to-own business tailored to the needs of the non-conforming unsecured lending market.

Canaccord Genuity was appointed as financial advisor to Thorn (controlled by Terra Firma Capital Partners) at the beginning of the year to advise on the realisation of its investment in BrightHouse. Canaccord Genuity ran a process preparing the company for an IPO on the Official List and a sale to private equity and trade parties.

Canaccord Genuity acted as sole financial advisor to Thorn Limited.
