Bridgepoint Capital, the European private equity firm, sold Longville Group, the UK based equipment rental group, to Carrier Corp. for an undisclosed sum.

 Longville specialises in the provision of pumping and temperature control solutions to a broad spectrum of industries, including the utilities and petrochemical sectors.  It has operations in the UK, US, Germany, France, Holland, Poland and Singapore.

Carrier is a global supplier of temperature control equipment and is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation, which is a US listed group with a market cap. of approximately $66 billion.

Canaccord Genuity acted as sole financial advisor to Bridgepoint Capital.
