TenUnited & Direct Impact have sold a majority stake to Halyard Capital to create Engauge
Petsky Prunier is pleased to announce the sale of majority stakes in TenUnited and Direct Impact to Halyard Capital. Halyard has combined the two companies to create Engauge, a new marketing solutions agency formed in partnership with renowned industry leader Stan Rapp. In the launch of this new agency model, Engauge screened more than 100 marketing services companies. TenUnited, a leading brand marketing agency based in Columbus, OH, and Direct Impact, a leading database marketing, business intelligence and analytics solutions provider based in Austin, TX, were chosen as the initial members of the Engauge consortium. Together, the companies will provide a wealth of insightful analytics, captivating brand advertising, interactive capabilities and accountable measurement to the new agency.
As chairman of Engauge, Stan Rapp joins forces with Halyard Capital in creating a unique marketing solutions agency that offers a proprietary, behavioral-based approach to planning. With the combination of TenUnited’s qualitative capabilities in consumer insight and brand essence and Direct Impact’s state-of-the-art quantitative data analytics, these premier acquisitions are representative of how Engauge will bring together best-of-class, specialized marketing entrepreneurs operating within the singular vision of one brand name, one bottom line and one vision.
A team from Petsky Prunier LLC led by Michael Petsky and Sanjay Chadda served as exclusive financial advisor to TenUnited and Direct Impact and initiated, structured and negotiated the transaction on behalf of the companies.
