Biwater Holdings Limited

On 19 November 2010, our client, Biwater Holdings Limited ("BHL"), signed a definitive agreement to sell its UK based subsidiary, Biwater Services Limited ("BSL") to MWH Global Inc. ("MWH").

As part of a strategic realignment during 2010, BHL decided to dispose of two of its independent subsidiaries, Cascal N.V. and Biwater Services Limited. Canaccord Genuity was appointed to run the disposal process of BSL. Completion of the transaction will play a key part in BHL's overall strategic plan.

A combination of BSL and MWH creates a leading player in the UK water market, whilst also strengthening each other's service offering to clients.
