Petsky Prunier advises Millennium 1 Solutions on its sale to Dimension Data
June 5, 2018 (New York, NY) – Petsky Prunier is pleased to announce it has advised Millennium 1 Solutions, one of Canada’s fastest growing business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions providers and a portfolio company of The Gores Group, to Dimension Data and its subsidiary Merchants, a pioneer in the contact center industry. Dimension Data is part of the NTT Group (TYO: 9432), one of the largest telecommunications service providers in the world.
Millennium provides contact center, credit card, and back office and administration solutions to Canadian organizations in, primarily, highly regulated industries with complex BPO requirements, including financial services and insurance. The company offers multi-lingual capabilities (English, French, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish) across voice, email, and other digital platforms, as well as IVR services for clients. Millennium is headquartered in Toronto and employs more than 2,100 staff across five locations in Canada. The company also has an offshore facility in Manila in the Philippines.
Johannesburg, South Africa-headquartered Merchants is a leading customer management outsourcing solution provider that designs, builds, and operates contact centers across the globe. Dimension Data will form a new “Merchants Group” holding company incorporating Merchants and Millennium. The Merchants Group will become part of Dimension Data’s CX and Digital Workplace business and will employ more than 7,600 full-time staff worldwide.
