Canaccord Genuity is pleased to announce that on November 22, 2019, Environmental Lights was acquired by Pfingsten. Canaccord Genuity acted as co-financial advisor to Environmental Lights.

Environmental Lights, headquartered in San Diego, California, is a leading designer and provider of commercial decorative accent LED lighting. The Company transforms environments through its innovative LED lighting systems. Environmental Lights’ products are sold via direct sales engineers that develop custom lighting solutions for applications in retail, scenic/stage, exhibit, hospitality, audio visual and architectural. 

Pfingsten is an operationally focused private equity firm that is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois and has acquired 139 manufacturing, distribution and business service companies. Pfingsten will leverage its experience in the lighting industry to pursue strategic add-on acquisitions and continue to grow Environmental Lights.

Since the start of 2018, this represents Canaccord Genuity’s 12^th successful advisory mandate in Lighting & Controls.  Over time, the Firm has closed over 50 transactions globally in this sector. The Canaccord Genuity team consisted of Dan Coyne, Marc Marano, Chris DiPietro and Taylor Murphy.
