Ted was Head of North American Mining at CIBC World Markets before founding Genuity Capital Markets in late 2004. He joined CIBC World Markets in 1996 and built the team into the #1 ranked global mining M&A team. Ted has been involved in a wide variety of mining finance, as well as over 50 completed M&A advisory assignments since 1996. These include in 2014 the joint acquisition of Osisko Gold Inc. for Yamana Gold, the acquisition by B2Gold of Papillon Resources and the acquisition by Agnico Eagle of Cayden Resources. Before CIBC, he was Co-Head of Corporate Finance for Bankers Trust Canada. Ted graduated from the Schulich Business School in 1985 with a B.B.A.
