Michael Pickard

Mike is the co-founder of Summit Wealth Partners and his journey into the advisory field has been anything but conventional. After spending much of his twenties working as a builder and contractor, Mike returned to the University of Alberta to complete his finance studies and began his career as an Associate Advisor at BMO Nesbitt Burns. He later developed a successful advisory practice at IG Wealth Management, where he met Alex Senkiw and chose to formalize their partnership and transitioned their practice to Richardson Wealth.

Mike focuses on investment research and portfolio management. He graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce and holds both the Certified Financial Planner® and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designations.

Mike continues to embrace the outdoors with his wife and their two daughters by hiking and mountain biking right from their backyard in Canmore.
