Shachar is a Vice Chairman to Canaccord Genuity with a focus on developing the firm's business in Israel, as well as supporting the Aerospace & Defense, Industrial and Clean-Tech sectors. He has over 15 years of global corporate finance and transaction experience in New York and London, as well as diversified experience advising clients on merger & acquisition, equity and debt transactions in both public and private markets. Prior to joining us, Shachar was with UBS Investment Bank for almost 10 years. Most recently he has led UBS' Aerospace & Defense and Industrial Technology practice in EMEA. Shachar received his MBA degree from the Stern School of Business at NYU and LL.B and BA in Accounting from the Tel-Aviv University.
