Vik Pandit has an extensive background in Software investment banking, with more than 35 announced transactions representing in excess of $95 billion in aggregate consideration. Over his career in investment banking, Vik has advised CEOs, CFOs, boards of directors, and financial sponsors on strategic and capital markets alternatives. He focuses on infrastructure/cyber/data analytics software and cloud services.
Prior to joining Canaccord Genuity in 2024, Vik spent six years at Houlihan Lokey, where he was a managing director and head of the Infrastructure Software coverage team within the firm’s Technology Group.
Earlier in his career, Vik was a director in J.P. Morgan’s TMT Investment Banking group, which he joined in 2009. Prior to J.P. Morgan, he worked in business development and product management at Nimaya Inc., an enterprise cloud analytics provider. He was instrumental in several rounds of fundraising for Nimaya, and in designing and deploying Nimaya’s real-time, cloud-based analytics software. Before joining Nimaya, Vik worked at MicroStrategy, a provider of business intelligence cloud-based services. Vik Pandit completed an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and an M.S. in Engineering from Ohio State University.
