Larissa Teipner's Story

The best example of our values are the people who work here.

By the time she had enrolled in Law School in Louisiana, Larissa had moved 17 times.

“I grew up all over the world,” she says. “That gave me an ability to form relationships and have an authentic interest in people’s lives.” But when she moved to New York in 2010, she stayed there, finding a home at Canaccord Genuity, where she now serves as U.S. Deputy Counsel.

Larissa Teipner is a rare individual. Not only is she regarded as a thorough, measured and insightful expert in securities law, she is also known for her love of people. She’s approachable, friendly and someone who sees integrity as the highest of values.
