Rich Reynoso's Story

When you know Rich, you know our values.

Born and raised in northern New Jersey, Rich Reynoso knows a lot about family, fun and hard work.

He and his 3 sisters grew up with no illusions about the good life being handed to them. “My dad taught me to work hard,” says Rich. “And that’s what I do.”

Early on, Rich believed that he was going to be a dentist. But by his own admission, his performance in Anatomy class paled in comparison to his grades in Accounting.  So, after studying Accounting in college, he graduated and immediately got a job with a financial firm specializing in mutual funds.

Now a Managing Director in the Finance / Accounting Department at CG in New York, Rich brings his incredible work ethic and positive outlook to the office every day. “I love the people here,” says Rich. “They’re generous and kind. Always willing to help each other and get the work done. Accounting is accounting,” he smiles, “but here at CG, the culture makes it special. That’s why I’ve been part of this team for over 20 years.”

Rich also loves spending time with his family and playing sports with his three children (two sons and a daughter). “I love sports…specifically golf. If I don’t get a round of golf in during the week, I’m not happy,” he laughs.

When asked what advice he gives young people coming into the industry, Rich is quick to respond. “Go for it. Seize opportunity. Ask questions. Work hard.”

Coming from such a warm and intelligent person with so much life experience, that’s advice worth taking.
