Covenant Healthcare Group Limited Abbey Hospitals

Our client, Covenant Healthcare Group Limited ("Covenant") has successfully completed the disposal of the operating assets of Abbey Hospitals ("Abbey") to General Healthcare Group ("GHG"). This follows the previously announced sale of Covenant Churchill to Cambian Healthcare. Financial details were not disclosed.

Abbey is a group of four private hospitals located in the North of England and Scotland. GHG is the UK's leading provider of independent healthcare services, its primary businesses being BMI Healthcare and is majority owned by Netcare, a listed South African healthcare group.
