Canaccord Genuity acts as exclusive financial advisor to Once Inc. on Signify’s acquisition of Once Inc. and iLOX GmbH.  

Canaccord Genuity is pleased to announce that on May 20, 2019, Once and iLOX have been acquired by Signify. Canaccord Genuity acted as exclusive financial advisor to Once.

Once, based in Plymouth, Minnesota, is a market leader in the design and manufacturing of animal-centric lighting. The Company’s animal specific lighting solutions improve the quality of life for livestock, which leads to healthier and enhanced production for the farmer. Once signed an agreement to acquire Germany-based iLOX in 2018, to add sales and service capabilities outside the US.

Signify, formerly branded as Philips Lighting, is a world leader in lighting and continues to focus on innovation in the LED lighting space. The acquisition of Once and iLOX provides Signify with technology and expertise in animal lighting, which complements its horticultural lighting solutions.
