Canaccord Genuity Advises Amplifire, a Portfolio Company of Leeds Equity Partners, on its Significant Strategic Investment from Polaris Growth Fund
Investment positions Amplifire to capitalize on its leadership position in high-stakes outcomes-based workforce training
Canaccord Genuity is pleased to announce that it advised Knowledge Factor, Inc. (dba Amplifire), a portfolio company of Leeds Equity Partners and a leader in the adaptive eLearning market offering a differentiated content creation and performance management platform to solve employee onboarding and training challenges, on its significant investment from Polaris Growth Fund (“PGF”), a technology-focused private investment firm with over two decades of investing experience. Several customers have also participated in the transaction. Bob Burgin, Chief Executive Officer, and the existing management team will continue to lead Amplifire.
Amplifire’s next-generation content creation and performance management technology platform has rapidly become the industry standard in high-stakes training, helping healthcare organizations, education companies, and corporations identify, monitor, and solve critical knowledge gaps. Leveraging breakthroughs in cognitive science, the Company’s patented learning algorithm incorporates a series of cognitive and emotional triggers that activate learning and memory resulting in more effective and efficient learning and knowledge retention for longer periods of time. After assessing each learner’s knowledge and confidence and identifying areas of confidently held misinformation – instances when a learner is certain that he or she is correct but is wrong – the platform adapts to create a personalized path to mastery for each user. In 2021, nearly 900,000 professionals trained on Amplifire’s proprietary platform.
The Company’s impressive growth has been driven largely by the development and expansion of the Amplifire Healthcare Alliance. Through this collaborative ecosystem, Amplifire partners with renowned health systems to develop both clinical and non-clinical content designed to reduce training time and costs, improve patient outcomes, and increase revenue-generating activities. Amplifire’s health system partners execute and publish efficacy studies proving and quantifying the value in the platform and co-developed content which can then be utilized by other health systems to address the same paint points. Amplifire’s healthcare presence has expanded beyond health systems to include partnerships with leading pharmaceutical companies, payors, and medical device companies who leverage Amplifire’s platform to optimize employee training and workforce performance.
