Working within the Financial Services team, you will have the opportunity to provide financial advisory services on a wide range of strategic transactions (including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and re-structuring), capital-raising projects and debt financing mandates to financial institutions.

Canaccord Genuity is looking to recruit a proactive and organised individual to join the HR team based in London. This role will be responsible for co-ordinating with our outsourced payroll provider to oversee the monthly payroll activity for the UK and Irish entities and relevant benefits programmes. The Role 

Payroll & Benefit specific duties:

  • Manage all monthly payroll activity from data supply to third-party bureaus and checking output – including reviewing data entry, new starter and leaver calculations, absence data, maternity and paternity leave, company benefits and pension. 
  • Oversee general administration for benefit schemes, liaise with benefit providers and communicate and reconcile changes and invoices.

We are looking for an experienced Analyst to join our Technology team in our Fitzrovia office. The successful candidate will work directly for a VP or Director, and will be responsible for supporting on all elements of the deal process as well as managing work streams on their own.  With significant client exposure and the need to develop relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external, this role carries a high degree of responsibility towards deal success.

You'll hone your research, process and client-facing skills in understanding your sector fully; with a high level of attention to detail, financial and people skills alongside you'll fit seamlessly into the team and your priority will be to learn as much as possible from the talented people around you.

Many of our team members stay with us longer than the industry average. We pay particular attention to how you can develop both your career and your skill set. This team is not one to ensure you 'serve your time', it will move you along your career trajectory as quickly as you can progress.

The ideal candidate will have 18+ months of experience of working in M&A advisory as an Analyst, or exceptionally may have worked in transaction services or similar elsewhere. Candidates are welcomed from both routes but either way you will need to show an understanding of, and enthusiasm for the Technology sector, and be able to demonstrate your existing technical skills. Entrepreneurial spirit is always a significant advantage in our firm too.
