Fera Jeraj joined Canaccord Genuity as Chief Technology Officer in May 2022. She is a seasoned technology executive with more than two decades of IT leadership experience and established success aligning business goals with technology capabilities to meet performance, operating, and financial objectives. Fera started her career developing trading systems for a fintech before moving to National Bank Financial as the Head of Equity Trading Technology. She joined BMO in 2010 and was responsible for supporting the build of BMO’s Electronic Trading capabilities in North America and their ETF market making capabilities in Canada. In 2020, she advanced to the role of Chief Information Officer, Global Markets Technology at BMO, where she led a team of 400+ to drive digital transformation and established a stable and cost-efficient IT operation.
