Fund Manager

A senior investment professional with 30 years' experience in portfolio management across multiple asset classes, I joined the company in October 2023 where my principal role is lead fund manager for the CG Dynamic Fund (formerly the Odey Opportunity Fund).

Prior to joining the company I was Managing Director of Odey Wealth Management (CI) Ltd for 15 years. During my investment career, I have worked hard to establish a reputation as a safe pair of hands in a crisis and someone who aims to deliver consistent risk-adjusted returns. My aim is to utilise the vast resources of the Canaccord Group to deliver better results for the Fund. I previously worked for Credit Suisse where I held multiple roles in the Investment department, including acting as Director and Head of Portfolio Management.

I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI), a member of the Institute of Directors and hold an honours degree in Economics from York University.

A bit about me:

I enjoy relaxing in my free time by being active (playing golf, going sea swimming, cycling and walking the parish with my wife Lorraine) and I also spend quite a lot of time in London where my two grown up children are living.

I enjoy the contrast between Guernsey and the hustle and bustle of the city but always look forward to coming back to the island.

I am a long-standing season ticket holder of Tottenham Hotspur.
