I joined the company in 2011 as the Human Resources Manager, subsequently promoted to Head of Human Resources for our International business. Together with my team, I am responsible for delivering our 'people strategy' and supporting our senior leadership team in achieving our strategic goals and objectives through our people.

I have a degree in hotel management and 25 years’ experience working in Human Resources for a variety of commercial businesses in both the UK and Crown Dependencies.

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) and also a member of our International Leadership and Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committies.

A bit about me:

Originally from Yorkshire, I moved to Guernsey in 2003 for a month, and never went back. I am married to a Guernsey man, we have a daughter and a couple of dogs. I love spending time with my family, and when we are not exploring the stunning Guernsey coastline, I can be found at home, in the kitchen or curled up with a good book.

What does can-do mean to me:

You could call it an ethos, an approach, or an ideology. We simply call it can-do.

A collective mindset which drives us to achieve, simply put ‘the way we do things around here’.
