I joined the company in 2016 based in London and, before arriving in Jersey, was responsible for the offices outside London.

My key responsibility is providing leadership to the Portfolio Management and Stockbroking teams in Jersey where we provide discretionary portfolio management, execution-only dealing and advisory stockbroking for clients and their advisors, based both on the Island and overseas.

Over the past 30 years I have focused on discretionary portfolio management and advisory services to charities, pensions and private clients, leveraging the broader global resources and expertise available through the firm's centralised investment process. I am actively involved in companies’ investment process with a particular interest in Asset Allocation and Alternatives.

After leaving the Army I began my career with Cazenove & Co as a private client investment manager, before spending 13 years as an institutional stockbroker with UBS Warburg. In 2002, I returned to private client investment management with Border Asset Management, where I was a Director and Chief Investment Officer, with responsibility for growing funds under management and developing the firm's investment process.

A bit about me:

I have always enjoyed the great outdoors. At weekends I would previously have been found (or not) in the hills of the Yorkshire Dales or Lake District. Now it will be the cliffs and beaches of Jersey.

What does can-do mean to me:

You could call it an ethos, an approach, or an ideology. We simply call it can-do.

Can-do is about focusing that as a team, and an individual, we are doing all we can to on achieve clients’ induvial objectives for their investments.
