I joined the company as part of the acquisition of Eden Financial in 2012, after 40 years across various firms in the city. My patient, long-term, investment style is based on established principles of investment and long experience in identifying value through the careful study of available facts, economic background and historical evidence. My approach is informed by top-down macroeconomic and bottom-up fundamental analysis. I prioritise making decisions which can make a difference to long-term investment performance.

I am a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.

I have been married to Erica for over 40 years and we have two grown-up children, William and Olivia. Erica and I principally enjoy travelling, the arts and the outdoors.

What does can-do mean to me:

You could call it an ethos, an approach, or an ideology. We simply call it can-do.

One dictionary definition of ‘Can-do’ is having or showing a determination or willingness to take action and achieve results. I am in agreement with that.
