CEO of Qomply
Michelle Zak is Founder/CEO of Qomply, a RegTech firm that produces cloud-based software for investment firms. Qomply empowers financial firms to meet their regulatory transaction reporting requirements through technology solutions that are comprehensive and affordable.
Over the course of her career, Michelle held various senior leadership positions within investment banking and has spent 15 years working in various roles on the Trading Floor.
Having degrees in both Mathematics and Computer Science, Michelle started her career as a software developer at the BBC. However, she soon transitioned to a career in finance where she spent several years implementing mathematical models for executing quantitative trading strategies for the investment banking divisions of BNP Paribas and UBS. At BNP Paribas, Michelle led a team charged with implementing strategies for Credit Arbitrage Trading as well as developing tactical solutions for computing valuation and risk for bespoke products across Fixed Income.
Before starting Qomply, Michelle was Chief Operating Officer at Kyte Broking/Market Securities, a global, mid-size financial firm servicing institutional clients in London, Paris, New York, and Dubai.
